Specialising in women’s health, her research papers delve into crucial topics such as unwanted hysterectomies, breast care, HIV in migrant workers, yoga in pregnancy, and the art of motherhood, Garbha Sanskar.

Recognised nationally, Dr. Geetha has received accolades from various agencies for her exemplary contribution to women’s health management, yoga in pregnancy, and the implementation of Garbha Sanskar. Her extensive research work includes the publication of three articles in international journals and twelve in national journals.

Dr. Geetha has achieved mastery in offering simple yet effective treatments for infertility, boasting an impressive 85% success rate without resorting to IVF. Informative videos showcasing these successes are hosted on the hospital’s YouTube channel enabling prospective parents to seek effective and efficient solutions for infertility.

Trained in advanced laparoscopy, Dr. Geetha accomplished a remarkable feat by successfully removing a uterine tumour weighing 11 kg, marking it as one of the largest uterine tumours globally.

Beyond her medical practice, Dr. Geetha Chavan has embraced a holistic approach to healthcare. Dr. Geetha, along with her husband, has organised approximately 6 health check-up camps, benefitting students, teachers, and other school staff. She and her husband have adopted two villages, where they have implemented digital medical care, emphasising the importance of accessible and advanced healthcare solutions in rural areas.
